- If you're going to buy a fake, buy a good fake! I'm guilty of this one. I bought a Civil War art print at an auction. I thought I knew what I was buying, but when I got home and looked the print up online, I discovered that my "art print" was simply a blown up forgery. The left side of the art print was missing some scenery! I still love the art print, however I can't look at it and think it would have been a lot better with the whole print! Print out a copy of the art piece you want before going shopping. Make sure the print you get is a replica of a true original, not a blown up photocopy!
